What year did you get involved with Camp No Limits?

2023

Did you start as a family/camper, volunteer/staff, or another role?

Volunteer

Fun fact about me:

I am originally from New Jersey and I have a rescue pup, named Gracie, who brings so much joy to her life.

Why do you feel it is important to serve on the IDEA Committee?

It's important to serve because it allows me to use my experiences to support and encourage others with limb differences. I enjoy being a part of the larger limb loss and disability community.

Favorite thing about camp:

Getting to meet other campers and volunteers with limb differences is really special. I also enjoy the opportunity to learn new things from the Occupational Therapy sessions and to try out new activities.

Any tidbits of advice for families attending camp?

Don't be shy. Get involved, try new things, ask questions, and get connected. Leverage the resources and experiences from camp to build a better quality of life for your child in your home communities.
