Cameron Johnson

What year did you get involved with Camp No Limits?

2014

Did you start as a family/camper, volunteer/staff, or another role?

Volunteer

Fun fact about me:

My dog, Brock, is an amputee from a car accident.

Why do you feel it is important to serve on the IDEA Committee?

For me, the IDEA Committee shows an active step toward creating a welcoming environment for all people. It's great to be a part of the conversations to increase inclusion and improve the family experience at camp.

Favorite thing about camp:

My favorite part about camp is the talent show and being able to welcome new families to the organization.

Any tidbits of advice for families attending camp?

My advice for families attending camp is to make connections and ask questions - there's a lot to take in, but those connections help to provide resources as children grow and new challenges arise. Camp No Limits has a lot of great mentors and staff who offer great education and adaptations.
