What year did you get involved with Camp No Limits?

2007

Did you start as a family/camper, volunteer/staff, or another role?

Volunteer with Limb Loss.

Fun fact about me:

I love to go geocaching with my kids. Speaking of my kids, both of them learned how to ride a bike while attending Camp No Limits.

Why do you feel it is important to serve on the board?

I think it’s important because I have been involved for so long and have watched it grow from the beginning. I love getting together with some of the original founders to plan camp every year.

Favorite thing about camp:

When I first went to camp, I got to meet with and share stories with other people in the same situation. We have stayed in touch after all these years and made great friendships through the Camp No Limits community.

Any tidbits of advice for families attending camp?

My advice for families coming to camp is - make the most of your time. Try to meet and talk to as many people as you can and stay connected to them when the program concludes.
