CNL Florida 2017 Recap!
We kicked off our 2017 season with Camp No Limits Florida! We started off with a pleasant surprise as the facility we use, Dayspring Conference Center, built a brand new building for their guests and it fit our needs perfectly! Thank you Dayspring for always having a beautiful facility and welcoming, helpful staff!
We began our adventure at Clearwater Marine Aquarium with a visit with Winter the dolphin and a tour of the facility! Thank you to David Yates and the CMA team for welcoming our group and creating an incredibly memorable experience.
Back at camp we were treated to a fun animal show compliments of Gatorland. Tim Williams brought a gator, tarantula, lizards and a python to entertain us on our first night at camp! Thank you Tim for your continued support of our program and bringing out the creepy crawlies for us to play with!
Common Ground Adventures came back to play in the trees with us again this year during our Adventure Afternoon. We also had a great time with the ropes course, going canoeing and kayaking and improving our biking skills with PTs Cameron and Karen.
Camp has a new family art project this year! Each family will work together to create a piece of art to take home to remember their time spent at Camp No Limits! Check out one of the designs created at CNL Florida.
Sticking with camp tradition, we had our talent show once again. Emcees Justine, Cameron and Kristen organized an incredible night of singing, dancing, tumbling, joke telling, one handed shoe tying, tae kwon do, skits, and some impressive piano playing! Thanks to all who dazzled us with your talents and kept us laughing throughout the evening!
Of course camp wouldn’t be possible without our incredible group of volunteers. We welcomed many new volunteers to the CNL family and were thrilled to have so many returners as well. Thank you all for your help, your energy and the connections you made with our campers and their families! We hope you’ll join us at another camp soon 🙂
