FROM A SMALL CAMP IN 2004…

Camp No Limits is the only camp for young people with limb loss & their families, creating a network of support for all the campers. Camp No Limits offers therapeutic programs with specialized professionals, including physical & occupational therapists, prosthetists & adult amputee role models.

Each camp is unique, but overall there are generally five programs offered each day (see below). Event opportunities vary depending on the camp location & season. You can learn about each location’s unique features under Dates & Locations.

All activities incorporate family members as well, with specific group sessions for siblings & parents when appropriate to address the needs of families living with individuals with limb loss.

FEES, FUNDRAISING & SCHOLARSHIPS

Camp Costs

We ask families to raise $500 per person to attend Camp No Limits, as this is the average cost per person.  The cost includes accommodations and other facilities, food, staff, activities and materials.  Travel to the site is not included.

Fundraising

Camp staff can help you raise funds to cover costs with ideas and resources.  We have put together this 22-page list of ideas with how-to details.

Starting in 2016 we have a grant writer who can work with you to identify potential sources of grant support in your area, and write grant proposals.  Please note that most grant funders take several months before responding to grant proposals, and applying for a grant is not a guarantee that you will be funded.  Grant proposals are a good approach when planning early to attend camp next year.  Email campnolimits@gmail.com to connect with our grant writer.

Scholarships

First time campers are eligible for Hanger Charitable Foundation Scholarships. View application.

Hanger and other donors support additional scholarships for returning families.  The application is part of the camp enrollment form.

Donate to Support Scholarships

We have yet to turn away a camper due to inability to pay and a lack of funding.  We hope you will help us raise funds by making a donation today!  Donate now.
